Dave “Seymour” Haworth

Dave “Seymour” Haworth directs a wide range of consultants & associates responsible for U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and direct commercial sales efforts. He creates purpose-built delivery teams with expertise on every aspect of the multi-billon dollar tasks. The hand-picked teams ensure successful delivery for key US partners and allies.
Since July 2014, Seymour has been based in Qatar. His experience as an active-duty military officer at the U.S. Embassy and as the CEO of two successful companies provides unique insights into the business culture in Qatar and the Middle East. Seymour served as an officer and fighter pilot (A-10 & F-16) for the U.S. Air Force for 23-years. He has had world-wide assignments and deployments and command positions, including at the Pentagon. Seymour is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, earned two master’s degrees, and is a graduate of the NATO Senior Defense College in Rome, Italy.

James Hall

A senior executive with 40 years of experience in the UK military, defence and security industries. James offers experience as soldier, diplomat and coach, with deep knowledge of strategic and operational planning. He specialises in the development of high-performing leadership teams. He has wide experience in the digitisation of defence command and control systems and has particular experience in the development of small and medium-sized companies in the EMEA Region.
James has commercial security and defence digitisation experience that has taken him to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Linked with his work with defence industries in Germany and West Africa, he offers strong experience of defence and security operations in multi-cultural environments.

James’ experience, military and commercial, is drawn from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As a soldier he has been a senior Defence Diplomat and worked closely with development agencies in the Region. In Yemen 2015, he was responsible for the largest commercial security force facing the Houthi invasion of Sana’a. In Qatar he was responsible for a multi-national defence team developing C4I systems.
In Germany he led an international team that conceived and designed an entirely new network of CBRN sensor systems. He has been responsible for the team coaching of Board level leaders in major multinational corporations.
James is a sector-specialist for MENA’s clients in the defence and security spaces, with particular emphasis on the role of special operations as a contribution to national security and commercial stability. His deep understanding of emerging government and commercial threats across EMEA, and experience with developing high performance teams make him a safe pair of hands in often extremely politically charged situations.

Widely known for his deep knowledge of the region’s macro economy and political dynamics, Justin is the Director of Khalij Economics and GCC Analyst for GlobalSource Partners. He is a nonresident fellow at the Edward P. Djerejian Center for the Middle East at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy in Texas.
Justin has been engaged in the Middle East for a quarter century, including a decade living in the region, mainly in Qatar. He has worked across government, banking, asset management and business intelligence.

Having been brought up in the Gulf, Tom has a deep understanding of the region.
